Levanya - THE LIGHTNING THIEF

This is Levanya! A character made up for an LV club, but I'm posting an edit there...plus, there's too much info for LV

ANEEWAY.
To be in the club, you're supposed to make up a hero/in and/or villain based on the book. The Twilight Series was already taken, and I was pretty sure no one would make up a character for THIS book....so yeah.
Also, if you haven't READ The Lightning Thief, explanation is needed or you won't understand how/why some things work.
[ONLY ONE SPOILER, AND A VERY MINOR ONE AT THAT!]
Okay, in The Lightning Thief, the Greek Gods still exist. Like, Olympians. But not as, gods, like religion, just forces of nature. They are actual immortal beings, though. Mount Olympus the mountain is still in Greece, but the home of the gods is actually at the top of the Empire State Building in NYC, which is where Percy lives. Percy doesn't find out until he's...my age, I think? 13? But he's a demi-god [one immortal parent, one....not Greek mythological parent] living in the modern world. He has powers based on his immortal parent's domain. [In this case, Posiedon, Lord of the sea.] he meets other demi-gods, too. And that's just the vaguest summary I could give, which kills me. The book is SOOOOOO much better! It's funny, too, and a decent length. Think, 1st 2nd and 3rd HP big.

Now I know what the people who know Greek mythology are thinking. What?! ARTEMIS HAS A DAUGHTER?! BUT SHE VOWED TO STAY A VIRGIN FOREVER!
And gods/goddesses don't adopt xP
XD Of course not! Artemis, rocks, don't get me wrong, but I wouldn't break her "character". Anyway, Selene is Levanya's mother. Selene is a minor goddess, and is goddess of the moon. Artemis is just a little bit more major. Besides, Artemis has other domains. [Hunting, for instance.]
Levanya never knew her father, and Selene vowed on the River Stix never to speak of him again, or why. While the demi-god doesn't usually live with their immortal parent, this is an exception, as Levanya's father disappeared. So Levanya has been living on the theoretical mount Olympus in NYC, and more eccentric than the average demi-god. Her powers, while very limited, are more specific and powerful. The only time she glows is at night [YES SHE GLOWS ] and most of her other powers only work at night, anyway. So she can go down among NYC like any normal kid, even the way she's dressed; I've been to NYC when I was 3, and don't remember any of it, but from what I've read and heard, I've guessed that weird is normal for NYC. Plus, in The Lightning Thief there's this thing called Mist [NO JOKE DANA ;] that kind of distorts what mortals see of demi-gods and immortals. Like, once, Percy was holding a sword, and mortals that saw him saw him holding a gun. So...yeah.
Her mom doesn't really pay attention to her all that much, like most of the Olympians. She does what she "can", of course, but....she doesn't make time for her. But her Aunt Eos [Goddess of Dawn, I think?] can usually find some spare time for Levanya.
What about Levanya's personality? She's usually kind of quiet, but she knows how to be heard when she wants to. Her motto is "The Little Things Matter". She'll be helping out somewhere, and she rarely loses her temper. She's very patient, but she does have a little nit of a dark side; she can be mischievous, but doesn't really use that trait in her personality as long as it doesn't hurt anyone. She has a dry sense of humor.
From the time she was born to "now" is about 15 years. While all the demi-gods are mortal, no one's really sure about Levanya. Know why?
HER DAD WAS A GHOST.
Yes, my weird mind got DP somewhat related to this. *rolls eyes* That's why she glows. But Vlad destroyed the ghost for unknown reasons. And because of her unusual parentage, no one is really sure about Levanya's "life-span", so to speak. This is also why her powers are more concentrated than other demi-gods.
Speaking of POWERS, she can create both immediate darkness and light; if she's concentrating can control water a bit [she still needs to practice, and it needs to be within 3 days from the full moon]; she knows where everything is, and directions to it, she's able to hover and float [height depends on the moon phases], she doesn't need to sleep, AND she can control weather after sun sets and before sun rises. Thus, The Lightning Thief, as Eos sometimes calls Levanya when she's in a mischievous mood.
I know, I know! But it's not like I NAMED her the Lightning Thief! Cut me some slack!
...um....What am I forgetting?! Oh yeah!
She's extremely pale [daughter of the moon, hello!] and her favorite color is.....
You guessed it!
ORANGE!
Because there's a piece of orange cloth that she keeps wrapped around her wrist; it's all that's left of her dad.
She has a yellow birthmark on her right shoulder. [my edit has it backwards ]
She always walks barefoot, too.....dun ask me why. Reason is still in pending. xD;;

AND GUESS WHAT? Because her dad is a ghost, I can have her appear in meh OC! This character will actually get some use!
And she better, cuz this took up a ton of time to type. X_x;;

Levanya was originally Levana [I added the "y" because I thought it sounded better ], which means "moon" in Hebrew.

This is probably the nicest OC I'll ever create, FYI.
