I am begging and pleading and grovelling on the floor. Please? *hopeful*
I really need to save up some money and I am willing to work for it. Please note I am willing to bargain for lower prices over note (or text message, if you have my number, or Skype - my username is AuraOfTheAir). If you are not interested, PLEASE at least read until the bold type until you decide to close the window!
This note is an information sheet on commissioning me to doing a piece of art for you.
Some ideas that you can have me do include: you and your friends at Hogwarts or Camp Half-Blood, you and your significant other in the situation that created a current inside joke between the two of you, characters of movies or books or TV shows or video games or whatever (or again, you and your friends) gender-bent (which means as the opposite gender), you and your date in prom attire, an epic fighting scene from your favorite movie,, you in a performance you've done, you and your very best friends in graduation robes, or maybe you in the role of your favorite character (like Elphaba). Maybe you even just want to see how I draw you in my style. Anything's possible, just ask...it costs nothing to ask, I promise. For most, I WILL need references to what you are asking me to draw.
Digital:
n/a (I do not have access to the programs I use to finish my art digitally at this point in time, and I don't see that access coming any time soon.)
Traditional:
This includes:
The mediums I am most comfortable with: Sketches, shading, coloring. The tools I use for these include quality inking pens, normal pencils, graphite pencils (must be requested), and artist quality colored pencils (the brand Prismacolor, set of 132).
The mediums I am familiar with but not as experienced and/or talented with: Watercolor, marker, acrylic paint, pastels
The mediums I am less experienced and/or talented with will be a lesser price than the ones I usually work with. This is because the works created with tools an artist is less comfortable with will be of a lesser quality than those created with tools the artist normally works with.
Glossary:</i>Sketch: Completed drawing in pencil. Outline darkened with pencil. All extraneous lines have been erased.
Clean sketch: Completed drawing in pencil. Outline traced with quality inking pen. All messy pencil marks have been erased so that only the pen is visible.
Shaded picture: Sketch that has been detailed in a way to make it look as though there are shadows and highlights. (Done with 1 color only. Will do with normal pencil unless requested otherwise.)
Colored picture: Clean sketch I have colored in with however many colors requested.
Flat: Colored with no sense of dimension.
Colored with shading: Combination of colored picture and shaded picture.
Half-body: From the top of the head to the waist, or anything less (like from the bust up, a head shot, or a close-up). If not specified, I will draw head-to-waist.

Other: This includes the mediums I am not as experienced with but still familiar with. They will most definitely be cheaper than anything listed above.
Borders (I make a gorgeous rose border), animals, plants, inanimate objects, whatever else strikes your fancy - please message me. I say this because these vary greatly depending on how large you want them, how many, in what intensity, etc. However, I promise that they will all be cheaper than the above character pictures, as people (and roses) are what I'm best at drawing. I also want you to message me about these because it may just be that I don't feel comfortable with drawing it for you at a charge because I have little to no experience with it. But please feel free to message me.
Realistic /eyes and hair/ I can draw pretty well but depending on what it is will result in the price. Just message me about what you're thinking of and I can give you a better idea. Most expensive would be $15 or $20. If you want realistic anything else, forget it, because it will be BAD.
Specific Other: If you want a comic, you will need to message me one of the following:
- the number of panels as well as an outline of what happens in each (actions, expressions, dialogue), or
- the general idea of the comic, which means you are giving me permission and responsibility to create the script and outline of the comic, or
- the script to this comic, which means you are giving me permission and responsibility to create the outline of the comic.
Please note that in those last two options, giving me more creative liberty can possibly influence the end price of the comic differently than what you expect (based on the difficulty of each panel, as well as the number of panels). Because of this, I will message you the outline and the price I expect for it before you commit to paying for it so that you know what you're getting.
PLEASE ASK QUESTIONS. It does not cost you anything to ask questions. I am also willing to bargain for lower prices over text or message if need be. Please feel free to donate or tip me as well, as I am trying to save up for a plethora of things (fix car (EVERYTHING is wrong with it, maybe I can just get the oil changed with what I get with this), concert, groceries, going to college soon...Please, ANYTHING...)
I WILL be mailing them to you unless you request otherwise.
THANK YOU!
